Album title: Melanistic Eyed lizards (Timon lepidus)

Adult male Album title: Australian Water Dragon (Physignathus lesueurii)

If I could only keep one species of lizard it would be this one. Attractive, easy to keep and very hardy.

Same female, note bite marks showing sucessful mating has taken place. Album title: Tunisian Eyed Lizards (Timon pater)

These are a beautiful large Lacertid, ideal for greenhouses or indoor vivaria. While the females are quite beautiful the males can be truly stunning.

This is an adult female showing the orange markings off to perfection. Album title: Orange Spotted Agama (Laudakia stellio picea)

These are the smallest sub-species of the Starred Agama and totally distinct from any other. Their dark grey to black colouration with vivid cream to orange spots and bars serves as superb camouflage in the black lava deserts where they originate. An excellent vivarium animal that can also spend the summer months in greenhouses

Adult male showing winter colours. Album title: Moroccan Eyed Lizard (Timon tangitanus)

Closer in size and appearance to the European Eyed lizard (Timon lepidus) than the Tunisian Eyed lizard.

Adult female of the subspecies polylepidota. Album title: Balkan green Lizard (Lacerta trilineata)

These are quite similar, and closely related to the European Green Lizard. We have two subspecies, polylepidota and major.

Close up of adult male. Album title: Gran Canaria Giant Lizard (Gallotia stehlini)

These can weigh up to a kilo in weight. They are also quite vocal often making strange sqeaking noises, which is very unusual for lizards. Very Rare in captive collections.

Adult male Album title: Tenerife Lizards (Gallotia galloti galloti)

These lizards are pretty rare in captivity.

Theis one is around two months old. Album title: Starred Agama (Laudakia stellio stellio)

A very hardy agamid lizard.

One of our Dragons enjoying the sunshine. Album title: Bearded Dragon (Pogona vitticeps)

We are trying to create strains of Bearded Dragon that are not only beautiful, but hardier than many dragons seen elsewhere.

male Album title: Crocodile Lizards (Shinisaurus crocodilurus)

We obtained our first pair of these stunning lizards from a German breeder in December 2011.

An Australian Water Dragon at Agama International. Album title: My visit to Agama International

These are some pictures taken while I spent a week at Agama International With Bert and Hester Langerwerf. A couple of amazing people, who created probably the biggest lizard breeding facility in the world.

This incredibly rare picture of an equally rare animal. We can tell this is a male as it is not wearing a bra (this species is extremely self-conscious) Album title: Elephant-billed Platytit Lizard (Aproductosaurus ofanunsoundius mindstateus)

A little known species which is extremely difficult to breed due to the fact that only males are known from the wild
